The format is the key difference.
Horse GP is exclusively a 5 event*, bringing together 40 of the world’s best riders.
Unlike traditional show jumping competitions, riders do not need to qualify for the Grand Prix through a series of qualifying rounds. Instead, they will first compete in the Sprint, which will determine their starting order for the Grand Prix much like qualifying in Formula 1. The format brings together speed, strategy and elite-level show jumping in a single evening.
-
Horse GP is open to everyone and is designed to be enjoyed by families, children and equestrian fans alike.
